These Terms of Service set the rules for using BarFlex. By creating an account and using the app, you agree to the terms below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of BarFlex, a fitness tracking app operated by BarFlex, LLC (“BarFlex”, “we”, or “us”).
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility & Age
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use BarFlex. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
BarFlex is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it updated.
4. User-Generated Content
BarFlex lets you share workout summaries, meal plans, photos, and other content to the community feed. You retain ownership of content you create, but grant BarFlex a license to host and display it within the app.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, infringing of others' rights, or that promotes illegal drugs or performance-enhancing substances.
We may screen, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms or Apple's App Store Review Guidelines, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly post objectionable content.
BarFlex provides tools to report and block other users. You can report objectionable content or users through the in-app reporting mechanism.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to disrupt service, access data you are not authorized to access, scrape or bulk-download community content, or circumvent any safety or moderation features.
Automated or scripted access to the app or its backend is prohibited except as expressly permitted by BarFlex.
6. Purchases & Refunds
BarFlex is offered as a one-time paid download on the Apple App Store. Payment and any refund requests are processed by Apple under its own terms; BarFlex does not store or process your payment information.
For refund requests, contact Apple directly through your App Store purchase history.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
BarFlex is a fitness tracking tool and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional before starting any fitness or nutrition program.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarFlex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app's profile settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the ‘Last updated’ date at the top of this page.
